I fell back with an animal-like grunt. Quickly, I flipped back to my feet and ran to the nearest tree. I swung It around by the roots after ripping It from the earth, and sent it sailing towards the boy. "Your mother!" She said before sending a few more large objects.

"Yes, what about her?" Stephen stopped all the objects in midair and floated them around. "This is somewhat pathetic." He shook his head and yawned. His hands charged with electricity.

I paused, fists clenched at my side and chest heaving. "Then why do we even bother fighting?"

I felt myself slowly transforming back to normal...though I looked a mess. My tee shirt was tattered around the shoulders a neck area. My skinny jeans....They were a long skirt now. "I'm just gonna go back home." I muttered and turned on my heel.

"Mhm." He dropped himself to the ground and started to clean up the area. Stephen yawned.

With one hand, I scooped up my shoes. With the other, I pointed at him. "You. Ever heard or the Institute?"

I shifted my weight and looked at the sky. "Um...Well, your, ah, talents...They are very dangerous. If someone were to get a hold of them, you'd be in deep trouble."

"Ah. Yeah. That makes sense." Stephen yawned. "If I do go, it'll be a while. I'd need to get my stuff. Plus, I don't really wanna lose my experimenting area."

I looked at him with anger, coldness, and hidden concern. "Alright then. Good luck." I then turned and changed back into my Beast form. "Oh, and you said Beast earliee? That's my dad." I said quietly before bounding away.

"Mm." Stephen started packing up and left, locking up the place with a forcefield that he created. Then he went on home.
