Genosha ( Evil Mutant's HQ)

I hesitated for a minute. Two minutes. "I was.... I was, um..." I racked my brain for an answer, then finally came up with one. "I was wondering if you remembered that old Kitty and Colossus story." I blurted. Crap.

I messed with my hair nervously. I might as well continue.... "Do you think that their love is....odd?"

I smiled brightly. "Good." I sighed without thinking.

"Oh, that." I shrugged as if it were no big deal. "I'm going to offer myself as a peace-offering to end the suffering of others. Maybe they'll make me a techy or something." I checked a few gears.

I looked back at him when he didn't reply. "Are you okay?" I smiled.

"Cool." I chuckled at my pun and got on my hands and knees to check the floor wiring.

I ended up getting shocked and yanked my hand back. "Ouch! Dang it." I looked at the burn and made a face.

I held out my hand and showed him the burn on my two fingers. "It's not so bad..." I lied.

I smiled and quickly kissed his cheek. "Uh, thanks." I continued about my work.

I mentally slapped myself. Good job, creep. I was so embarrassed that my hair started frosting up.

Stevie Rae stuck her head threw the oor." Uhh.. guys? We hato go."

I jumped to my feet. "You guys can go ahead." I said quietly and started loading the communicator.

I gasped and struggled, but it was no use. "Wait! Just let me do this!" I pleaded and outstretched my arms desperately towards the communicator.

I pounded on his back, but eventually gave up. "So many deaths." I mumbled sadly to myself as I was carried out.
